The Prophetic Promise from the Lord – our way ahead
Introduction
It is only since 2012 that I have collected the prophetic utterance of our Lord to us. God has spoken and has promised great things will happen. This summary is distilled down from 30 pages of recorded words to the church. There is more that I have received personally, as have others on leadership, those are not included here. God has encouraged, guided, cautioned, disciplined and promised through his servants. These pages summarise His incredible promise. Some things He has said more than once. I have included those words only the once. The servants of God include seven different persons within the congregation and eight from wider New Zealand and overseas. We honour their faithfulness and courage.
The Outpouring
Over and over the Lord has said He is about to do far more than we can ask or imagine. He says He will yet do things beyond our capacity to imagine or think because He is creative. It will be a new thing He will be doing.
He said the Holy Spirit will flood into our region like surf waves rushing into our coast. He is going to flood into the lives of Taranaki / Central people and move them on into a new shape, a new form, just as rocks and coastline are shaped by waves.
He said He will bring about a ‘New Pentecost of Love’ which He will impart to us for one primary purpose - to take it and share it with each other, then beyond these walls to our city andto those whom He brings to us. We don’t need to strive for this, we just need to follow Him.
When He moves, He has revealed, it will be a mighty move, like a tornado gathering and touching down, a direct open heaven experience that radically releases divine power that transforms, destroys the old and shapes for the new. Those anchored in Christ will be safe in the swirling power of God’s manifesting presence. He has shown us the heavenly throne room, the Father and the Son, pouring out the Spirit from an open heaven transforming lives, and changing the spiritual landscape within which we live. There will be destruction to the works of the enemy, worldly systems and strongholds. This outpouring will be characterised by manifest love, healing of all illnesses for all who want this, deliverance from bondages and overwhelming numbers in salvation.
Our congregation will know a culture of love and unity.
Central Baptist
The Lord declares that He has heard our prayers and our cries for mercy. He promises when He pours out His Spirit there will be peace, rest for our souls, freedom, liberty and joy in the Holy Spirit. He has seen us laying new foundations of biblical truth that have been watered with tears. He says we will reap with joy. God has been and is building something new in us that will be a better vehicle for his Kingdom to come to this city. Our labour pains will have been worth it. We will find favour in the city. He says do not look back to former things because He is doing something new.
The Lord Himself is excited about what will happen in Central and in New Plymouth. In His words - ‘You will be a stunning crown in the palm of My hand. A jewelled gold cup held high in the hand of Me -your God. My righteousness and glory will be seen internationally through you. You will get a brand-new name straight from My mouth. You will be called 'My delight', ‘God-Redeemed’, ‘Sought-out’ because I your God delight greatly in you. I will make New Plymouth the City of Hope.
He says that He has been building into us something really big for our region. He is building a culture where people are okay to be and grow into who they are meant to be. We will be powerful in His kingdom because we are hearing His voice. Darkness will flee, we will change atmospheres. He has made us a church that will crush the gates of hell and declare the Kingdom is at hand. He will give us fresh boldness, healing will flow through our hands, miracles will confound the sceptics - even those amongst us. We will prosper. A new season is beginning - there will be releases of new beginnings in lives and families in the region. There will be releases of fresh Holy Spirit encounters. We will see a great harvest of salvation. He says our congregation will not be a quiet safe harbour, but more like a labour ward – noisy, messy but full of new life. There will be more faith, more grace, and we will be a voice of hope. There will be a greater awareness and intimacy of God’s presence and this will flow into miraculous manifestations. Our congregation will be strong, a sturdy fort with strong people, He says – “Oh my persevering children – Central will be like Central Station, New York, buzzing with life and my radiant presence. You have toiled through the night, but dawn is breaking, and I am here now. Be ready for Me to shatter the illusions of the ungodly, to break down strongholds, to redeem the captive and restore lost inheritances.”
So therefore, He tells us to live in the expectation of the rain of the Holy Spirit “Trust Me, daily, weekly. I am not showing too far ahead because I am teaching you to walk in My Spirit on a daily basis. I have spoken promise over you and I have not forgotten those promises. I honour my promises for I AM Faithful. You have been forged by fire and I will raise you up. I AM raising you up. I will raise you up out of the ashes and I will honour the sacrifices made for Me, whether I asked for them or not. You have made yourself willing and vulnerable and I will not let that go unrewarded. Focus on love, being loving to one another, sharing my love with everyone you meet - in church or on the streets. Continue to seek me with all of your hearts, seek my presence, my face, and do my will. You know what that looks like – for you know the Scriptures. Take delight in Me and I will pour out my Spirit on you.” And He says “Take heart. He who began a good work will bring it to completion. Do not be dismayed or disturbed. Every word I have spoken about you will be fulfilled. You are my precious people. You are a faithful remnant. And like a remnant of clothing, I will weave you into a glorious garment for a King. For you are My people, I delight in you. I have never stopped loving you.”
New Plymouth
He says the church in New Plymouth will rally round the standard of unity – it will be a bride to Christ. “I therefore call you to a future of unity under My name as an expression of love for Me and for each other. This is so that the world may understand and see that the Father did send the Son and that the Father will again send Him, the Son for His bride, the church.”
The Lord says “I love New Plymouth. It is to be a place where people will come and have their wounds bound, their infirmities replaced with sound bodies and minds, their hope restored and their families at peace with one and other. My heart for the city of New Plymouth is to have a rebirth experience of magnificent proportions. The city is like no other, and I have purposed for you to be a strategic posting station where people can come and be delivered of all that afflicts them. So powerful will be My healing outpouring the hospital will begin to notice empty beds.”
And then in a vision it was seen that there was no-one sick in NP that wanted to be healed, but people were continuing to travel in for healing from the region, the nation and internationally. The city was booming through accommodation and food services, but health services were struggling with the decline in need. The churches were overflowing.
The Lord says “You will see how beautiful My name is. I will showcase it for New Zealand and will show New Zealand as a nation of My people and of hope starting with New Plymouth. New Zealand will be looked at by other countries and the other countries will want to see change like I have changed New Zealand.”
